ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I’m an abstract artist and designer, using bold, rhythmic forms to create artworks that sit where abstraction meets pattern.

My practice explores repetition and variation, driven by my passion for colour.

My palette is inspired by the artificial brightness of '80s and '90s cartoons and early video games. That saturated intensity, bold, unapologetic, and nostalgic, is filtered through colour theory and visual perception, then realised with carefully chosen paint pigments.

I balance methodical systems with playful experimentation, letting curiosity and instinct guide what takes shape. Whether working in paint or digital form, I create for the joy of making and to see what I can bring into the world. I feel alive when I do this, and I hope that energy and joy can be seen and felt in my work.
