365 FAQ
365 LAUNCH
When do reservations and print releases open?
The 365 project launches on 1 July at 7pm (UK time).
At launch, all paintings from July and August will be available to collect.
September dates will be available for advance reservation.
Subscribers receive access 24 hours earlier, on 30 June at 7 pm, giving them the first opportunity to reserve dates before public release.
The first timed print release features the August collection and will be available from 7 July to 14 July. After the release closes, those editions will no longer be available.
365 PROJECT & PROCESS
THE PROJECT AND PROCESS
How does the system work?
Each day of the year has a specific Sudoku puzzle. The numbers in that day’s grid dictate the placement of colour within a fixed composition. While the structure remains the same throughout the series, the shifting numbers make each painting unique.
Is each painting really unique?
Yes. Each original painting marks a single calendar date. Once someone claims a date, that painting will not be made again.
Why use a system to make art?
This approach comes from my MA research into series and variation. Letting the dated grid guide my planned colour palette means paintings are discovered, not designed. The process becomes a mindful practice, and the act of painting a reward.
365 PAINTINGS & RESERVATIONS
Can I buy a painting immediately?
Starting in July!
Yes, dates in the current or upcoming month are available to purchase. Your painting will be shipped immediately.
How do I reserve a date?
Reservations open on a rolling three-month basis. On the first of each month, a new future month becomes available to secure. You can browse the [Live Calendar] to see which dates are currently open for reservation or purchase.
Once a date is reserved or purchased, it is no longer available.
Can I see the painting before I buy it?
For ‘Live Calendar’ dates (this month and next), you can see the finished paintings on the website.
For ‘Future Reservations’, the painting hasn’t been made yet. You’re reserving a date, so you will not see it before it arrives with you. It will be posted on Instagram on its date.
What if the original I wanted has sold?
Alongside the paintings, a series of limited-edition digital prints is released in a timed monthly drop, just before the month it represents.
These aren’t reproductions; they are original digital pieces made for Giclée printing, using the same daily system.
They offer another way to collect the project if an original isn’t available.
What are the specifications of the originals?
Each original is an 11.5 x 11.5 cm acrylic painting on a 20 x 20 cm sheet of 300gsm Arches paper. Each piece is signed and titled on the back.
365 LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
Are these prints just copies of the paintings?
No. I make a separate digital artwork for each date, alongside the paintings. These aren’t reproductions; they are original digital pieces made for Giclée printing, using the same daily system.
How long are the prints available?
Prints are released in a timed monthly edition, just before the month they represent. Each set is available for one week. After that, the edition is closed and won’t be offered again.
How many prints are available for each date?
The number of prints depends on time, not a set edition size. Each date is available for one week during the monthly drop. After that week, the edition is finished, and no more prints for that date will be made.
What is the quality of the prints?
I use museum-quality 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper and archival pigment inks. Each print is made to order.
365 SHIPPING
When will my order arrive?
- Originals (Live): Shipped within 3-5 working days.
- Originals (Reservations): Shipped the month before your chosen date, so they arrive in time for their spot in the calendar.
- Prints: Each print is made to order and usually dispatched within 2–5 working days. Delivery typically takes 6–10 days from dispatch, depending on destination.
Do you ship internationally?

365 fine art prints are available to collectors in the UK, EU, and USA.

Can I return my artwork?
Because each original painting is unique and each limited edition print is custom-made, all sales are final. If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact the studio within 48 hours.
What is Subscriber Priority?
Subscribers receive a private link 24 hours before a new month opens for reservation. This gives first access to choose meaningful dates before the month opens more widely.

CARE & HANDLING
Q: How do I care for my acrylic painting?
A: My paintings are created using high-quality Golden acrylic paints, which offer excellent UV protection to help reduce fading over time. Additionally, each piece is finished with a protective layer of Liquitex varnish to shield the surface from dust, dirt, and minor scratches. To keep your painting looking its best:
- Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or areas with high humidity.
- Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth—do not use water or cleaning products on the surface.
- Handle with care to prevent damage to the varnish layer.
For any specific care advice or questions, please feel free to contact me.
COLOUR ACCURACY
Q: Will the colours look the same in real life as they do on screen?
A: Every effort is made to ensure the colours you see online closely reflect the artwork in real life. However, please note that colours can vary slightly from screen to screen depending on your device’s settings, brightness, and display calibration. If colour accuracy is essential for your space or project, you're welcome to get in touch for additional photos or to arrange a viewing at my Exeter studio.
